Ashley Wagner: I was sexually assaulted at 17. Here's why I’m telling my story now | USA TODAY



Olympic bronze medalist and U.S. national champion Ashley Wagner details for the first time publicly her experience of being sexually assaulted as a teenager. “All of this happened over the period of about five minutes,” Wagner writes. “That is such a small amount of time, and yet it has haunted me ever since.”

  1. All of this is about some drunk bloke who climbed into her bed at night during a house party, kissed her neck and groped her body? He didn’t even penetrate her for Christ’s sake. Ridiculous. Doesn’t she know that this is a regular occurrence that happens during most house parties? Young people kissing and having sex with each other.
